Orthotic & Prosthetic Services at M. H.
Mandelbaum are rendered by prescription. We take the time to evaluate our
patients/client’s needs and to listen to their concerns. In conjunction with
your physician and/or therapist, we are able to provide you with a product with excellent
fit that is specifically suited to your needs. A teamwork approach to patient/client
care brings together the resources of the patient’s physician, therapist and family. Our practitioners are certified by the American Board for Certification ("ABC") and are experienced with all age groups: from infancy through geriatric. You may call our information line to discuss patient/client considerations, componentry applications, and fitting concerns. This service is available Monday through Friday by calling 631-473-8773. For your convenience, we also provide 24-hour around the clock emergency service. Education Services at M. H. Mandelbaum include our new, accredited NCOPE residency program, in-house and on-site in-services for medical professionals, and seminars for patients/clients and their families. Our professional staff is available for your organization’s speaking engagements on the orthotic and prosthetic topics of your choice. Mandelbaum is known for providing the post-mastectomy population with compassionate, knowledgeable, and discrete services. Our certified fitter, Phyllis, has created a comfortable environment unique to the needs of the post-mastectomy individual.
